Current Sources in parallel:

Consider an example with current sources connected in parallel

If the directions of the current of the sources are connected in parallelwith same direction then the equivalent single source is the addition of the two sources with direction same as that of the two sources.

Consider current sources in different direction or opposite direction connected in parallel

If direction of the current sources is different then equivalent source will be having the same direction as greater of the two sources with a value equal to the difference between the two sources.

The current sources to be connected in parallel must have the same voltage rating though their current rating may be same or different.
